An All India examination conducted by the Indian Institute
of Technology, Bombay, on behalf of the ministry of human
resources development, department of education, government
of India, is held in the month of January.
CEED is a qualifying examination for admission to Master of Design (M.Des.) programmes
at the following institutes:

Objective
Assessment of aptitude for design, involving visual perception ability, drawing
skills, logical reasoning, creativity, and communication skills Eligibility
One must have any one of the following:Bachelor's degree in engineering/ architecture/
design/ interior design or equivalent. BFA (four- year professional course
after class XII). GD Art (five-year course after class X) with one-year professional
experience. Professional diploma in design from NID/ CEPT or its equivalent.
Master's degree in Arts/ Science/ Computer Applications. You could be a final
year student awaiting your result.

Obtain the application form, in person or by post, from the
GATE Office, IIT Bombay, on payment of Rs 990 by demand
draft in favour of IIT Bombay, payable at Mumbai. Or, download

Admission Procedure
- Details of test and interview for admission to be notified
separately
by the respective institutes.
- A limited number of assistantships available
for candidates with valid CEED/GATE score.
- Reservations as per Government of
India rules applicable at the time of admission.
